It’s been a long time since any news was posted about this project for English-speaking audiences, but Dead Air, a new free-play modification based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl, is very much alive and well. This is not a subreddit about stalking people nor discussing real-life stalkers! survival-horror computer game series (including Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, Call of Pripyat, and community mods for each). Since call of chernobyl is it's own exucatable, I added that to steam but steam only registers it as playing while the little popup box is open, once the real game opens steam thinks you've quit the game and the overlay doesn't work.Īll about the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The latter can be solved by adding 'Call of Chernobyl' as a 'Non-Steam game', but your screenshots will not appear in the Community Hub of 'Call. Therefore, you cannot track your playtime in 'Call of Chernobyl' on Steam nor use the Steam Overlay for screenshots.
